SoCal Club West Opens Doors in West Hollywood, Bringing Transformative Youth Community Center to Los Angeles
Innovative Youth Center Provides Inclusive Space with Holistic Programming in Wellness, Leadership, and Mental Health
LOS ANGELES, CA — November 13, 2025 — Men's Health Foundation (MHF) is thrilled to announce the December 4, 2025 grand opening of SoCal Club® West, an exciting new community center for youth that will serve as a beacon of hope and belonging for young people. Opening its doors in the heart of West Hollywood, the Club builds on MHF’s successful SoCal Club South LA, which offers a safe and secure space where community youth can participate in social events, engage in health and wellness activities, develop life skills, and participate in behavioral health services.
Located next door to MHF's successful Rapid Results Sexual Health Clinic at 8280 Santa Monica Blvd., SoCal Club West will serve youth with comprehensive programming including wellness services, leadership development, mentorship, mental health support, yoga, dance, educational workshops, social activities, and access to healthcare. MHF founded SoCal Club in 2018, in direct response to growing demand for safe gathering spaces and supportive services for young people, particularly LGBTQ+ youth and youth of color. Men’s Health Foundation CEO and Founder Dr. Tony Mills says, “My idea was, if I can build a place where men feel comfortable, then we can connect them to [health]care, they’ll stay connected to care, we’ll do the screening tests, and we can either prevent them from getting cancer or diagnose it early enough that it’s not a problem. We can put them at less risk for heart disease and help them to live longer, happier, healthier lives.”
"SoCal Club West represents hope, belonging, and opportunity," said TJ Griffin, Manager of Community Engagement at Men's Health Foundation. "Young people deserve a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Today, we open more than a space — we open a community where chosen family can support each other."
MHF will host a community ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house celebration at 8284 Santa Monica Blvd. on Thursday, December 4, from 4-7 p.m., featuring a DJ, tacos, mocktails, and guided tours. Community members, partner organizations, media representatives, and local leaders are warmly invited to attend.
Key Program Areas Include:
Youth Leadership & Advocacy Training
Mental Health & Wellness Services
Peer Support Groups
Dance, Yoga, and Run Club
Life Skills & Workforce Development Programs
Health Education & Navigation Support
